Tenders

The Commercial Department is responsible for optimising and efficiently managing the procurement of goods and services on behalf of Broadband Infraco. The Department also serves as a link between all suppliers and the company to establish a mutually beneficial business relationship. The Unit operates within applicable legal frameworks and good governance principles.

All tenders are advertised in the print media and website and there is no restriction on who may submit a tender. Open tenders published in the print media and the website are usually held open for a predetermined period of between two and four weeks depending on the complexity and amount of work done by prospective bidders. Closing time for all tenders is normally at 12:00 on the closing date. A late response is not permitted for consideration and is returned to the bidders with an explanation.
