At these POPs, Broadband Infraco can deliver ‘open access’ services i.e. the customer can connect onto the Broadband Infraco network with no constraint on which local access provider is utilised. The customer must however negotiate with the owner of the facility for the provision of space and power for the collocation of equipment and interconnection to the Broadband Infraco network.
Broadband Infraco also has a large number of its own POPs across the country where services can be delivered from/to. Examples of such POPs are Mtunzini, Beitbridge, Mahamba Border, Onseepkans, Ermelo, Newcastle, Ladysmith, Zimbane, and Melkhout. A full list of our POP sites can be provided on request.
